Steelers trade back in the 5th round of the 2025 NFL Draft

The Pittsburgh Steelers came into the 2025 NFL Draft with six total selections. After making three selections, they traded back eight spots in the fifth round in order to add pick 226 in the seventh round.

It is the first time since the 2023 draft that the Steelers have moved back in the draft when they traded back in the third round to gain the fourth-round pick they surrendered to trade up in the first round for Broderick Jones. In that draft the Steelers added tight end Darnell Washington after trading back and picked up outside linebacker Nick Herbig.

After only having one pick on Day 2, Steelers fans now must wait a little longer for their second selection of Day 2. Stay tuned to Steel Curtain Network for complete coverage of the Steelers entire draft.
