Steelers Top 30 Visit: Iowa State WR Jaylin Noel
With the 2025 NFL Scouting Combine in the books, the Pittsburgh Steelers enter the time of the offseason filled with Pro Days and Pre-Draft visits, of which they are allotted 30 for non-local prospects. Getting these guys in the building helps in multiple ways. From deep-diving medical evaluations to comprehensive in-person interviews, it’s a chance for the Steelers to really get a bead on specific prospects they want to really get to know before Draft Day rolls around.
The other major benefit is for us as fans. Since these visits are limited, it really helps to narrow down which prospects and position groups are of the most interest to the team in this NFL Draft process. If a player comes for a Top 30 Visit, it’s not a smokescreen, it’s because there is real interest between the organization and prospect.
The first prospect announced as a Top 30 Visit for Pittsburgh is Iowa State WR Jaylin Noel, a speedy pass catcher with elite athletic traits.

Jeremy Betz’s Scouting Report:
Noel is a versatile, twitched-up wide receiver with an intriguing blend of straight-line speed and lateral agility. From the slot, he can create easy separation on underneath routes with his quickness, or you can move him outside and let him work defensive backs on the perimeter down the field. Noel’s motor is always running at 100% and he doesn’t take plays off. He’s a willing, if not exceptional, blocker at his size, but he has legitimate return-man ability and can be utilized on jet sweeps and screens as an extension of the run game. Overall, Noel is a Day 2 talent with starter upside, and he can provide immediate value on special teams.
