Steelers reportedly sign former Ravens LB Malik Harrison to 2-year deal
The Pittsburgh Steelers continue to do their diligence on the first day of the NFL’s legal tampering period.
The same day the Steelers saw the likes of Dan Moore Jr., Justin Fields and Donte Jackson leave via free agency, the Steelers have made a signing on the defensive side of the football.
The signing? How about former Baltimore Ravens linebacker Malik Harrison?
This from Mike Garafolo of the NFL Network, the Steelers and Harrison have agreed on a 2-year deal with the financial terms unknown at this time.
Harrison has played his entire career in Baltimore, and is coming off a 2024 season where he played 15 games, had 2 sacks, 54 tackles and 3 TFL with 3 QB Hits.
How Harrison fits with the Steelers will be interesting to see. It is assumed Cole Holcomb will return after restructuring his deal before free agency, and that means the LB room will be Patrick Queen, Payton Wilson, Holcomb and Harrison.
Does this mean the end of Elandon Robert’s time with the Steelers? It possibly could if the Steelers wanted another more athletic, and versatile linebacker room.
Stay tuned to SCN for the latest news and notes surrounding the Steelers as they prepare for the rest of free agency and the upcoming 2025 NFL Draft.
Soooo, probably means no Elandon Roberts.
