As reported before, Metcalf is coming to the Steelers along with a 2025 sixth round draft pick in exchange for the Steelers 2025 second round pick and one of their 2025 seventh round picks. The only thing not reported at this time is which of the Steeler selections will be heading to Seattle. The Steelers appear to be receiving pick 185 as it is the only one Seattle possesses in the sixth round for 2025 while the Steelers will be sending pick 52 and either pick 223 or 229 to the Seahawks.
It is also been previously reported that the Steelers have signed Metcalf to a new contract which is for $150 million over the next five seasons. The exact breakdown of the contract is not known at this time.
In his career, Metcalf has gone over 1000 yards in three of his six seasons and has hit the 900 yard mark every year. Additionally, Metcalf has 48 career regular season touchdowns and has two seasons with double digit touchdowns. Metcalf also has five additional touchdowns in four postseason games.
In 2024, quarterback Kyle Allen wore the number 4 for the Pittsburgh Steelers.
