Steelers Host Three More Prospects for Latest Top 30 Visits

The 2025 NFL Draft is approaching, and the Pittsburgh Steelers enter the time of the offseason filled with Pro Days and Pre-Draft visits, of which they are allotted 30 for non-local prospects. Getting these guys in the building helps in multiple ways. From deep-diving medical evaluations to comprehensive in-person interviews, it’s a chance for the Steelers to really get a bead on specific prospects they want to really get to know before Draft Day rolls around.

The other major benefit is for us as fans. Since these visits are limited, it really helps to narrow down which prospects and position groups are of the most interest to the team in this NFL Draft process. If a player comes for a Top 30 Visit, it’s not a smokescreen, it’s because there is real interest between the organization and prospect.

The Steelers continue to focus on a specific trio of position groups with their Top 30 Visits, bringing in another Defensive Tackle, Running Back, and Wide Receiver for further evaluation during this stage of the Pre-Draft process.

YAHYA BLACK

Defensive Tackle | Iowa
Ht. 6060 | Wt. 336lbs | Senior

Jeremy Betz’s Scouting Report:

Black is a massive 0-1 Tech interior defender who eats up space up front with sheer size and strength. Not a technically sound player by any stretch. Doesn’t provide much as a pass rusher, but he can absolutely plug the middle and ingest double-team blocks in the run game, giving teammates a clear lane to the ball carrier. If he gets leverage on his opponent, the contest is over. Sure tacked as well. Overall, the Iowa DT is a Day 3 prospect with upside as an early-down specialist.

SAVION WILLIAMS

Wide Receiver | TCU
Ht. 6040 | Wt. 222lbs | Senior

Jeremy Betz’s Scouting Report:

Williams is a big-bodied, physical receiver with surprising wiggle and explosiveness. He excels with the ball in his hands, but struggles with consistency at the catch point on intermediate and down field routes. Very raw as a route runner, but provides value in the quick passing game and even as a ball-carrier on jet sweeps and out of the backfield. Could be an elite teams player early in his career. Overall, Savion Williams is a late Day 2/early Day 3 prospect with upside in the right system and with some development from a technical perspective.

BAYSHUL TUTEN

Running Back | Virginia Tech
Ht. 5090 | Wt. 206lbs | Senior

Jeremy Betz’s Scouting Report:

A human joystick, Bayshul Tuten is an impressive blend of power, speed, and lateral agility packed into a compact frame. Reminds me a lot of Chase Brown, who was a revelation for the Cincinnati Bengals in 2024 with his ability to bounce off tackles and run away from defenders at the 2nd level. Tuten plays with great contact balance and runs low naturally. Struggled with fumbles in college. Needs to improve his ball-handling and receiving chops at the next level to become a true 3-down option. Overall, Tuten is a Day 2 talent with starter upside and should be coveted by teams needing an explosive element out of the backfield.
