Steelers host Kansas State RB D.J. Giddens on Top 30 visit
The 2025 NFL Draft is approaching, and the Pittsburgh Steelers enter the time of the offseason filled with Pro Days and Pre-Draft visits, of which they are allotted 30 for non-local prospects. Getting these guys in the building helps in multiple ways. From deep-diving medical evaluations to comprehensive in-person interviews, it’s a chance for the Steelers to really get a bead on specific prospects they want to really get to know before Draft Day rolls around.
The other major benefit is for us as fans. Since these visits are limited, it really helps to narrow down which prospects and position groups are of the most interest to the team in this NFL Draft process. If a player comes for a Top 30 Visit, it’s not a smokescreen, it’s because there is real interest between the organization and prospect.
The next prospect announced as a Top 30 Visit for Pittsburgh is electric RB DJ Giddens out of K State.

The #Steelers have scheduled a pre-draft visit with Kansas State RB DJ Giddens, per @JustinM_NFL of TDN.
That’s a double down after a combine formal. Giddens tested off the charts in Indy.https://t.co/1ho1V3pYvf

DJ Giddens is a RB prospect in the 2025 draft class. He scored an unofficial 9.89 #RAS out of a possible 10.00. This ranked 22 out of 1909 RB from 1987 to 2025.

Andrew Wilbar’s Scouting Report:
Giddens is a human joystick juke machine. His agility in the open field is amongst the best in the class, but do not let his play style limit your expectations as an early-down runner. At 6’0″, 213 pounds, Giddens provides enough size to withstand large workloads and make space in between the tackles. Ball security is not an issue, nor is his ability to catch passes out of the backfield. Giddens isn’t the fastest lateral runner, and his pass blocking still needs a good bit of work, but with his combination of talent and character, I’ll take my chances on this guy any day of the week.

Wilbar has been hyping him up so much. Iām sold on him
