Steelers Burning Question: How many trades this offseason?
Last season I did the Friday Night Steelers Six Pack and wondered if it was worth doing further. After all, interaction was not great, and sometimes you just have to adjust. So I decided to call an audible, and not just abandon the Friday night meeting of the black-and-gold minds.
Instead of six questions, I wanted to focus solely on one question.
We’ll still do the preamble of what you’re eating/drinking/listening to, but we’ll focus our attention on the one Steelers question of the week. Don’t worry, most weeks I’ll do a bonus/extra credit question for fun. With all that out of the way, let’s get to the question!
The Steelers last offseason changed the way they approach the offseason when they made the following trades during the offseason:
- Diontae Johnson to the Carolina Panthers for a pick-swap and Donte Jackson
- Kenny Pickett to the Philadelphia Eagles
- Justin Fields to Pittsburgh with conditional pick with the Chicago Bears
This makes me wonder how many trades, if any, the Steelers make this offseason??
Let’s play the OVER/UNDER game, and I’ll set the line at…1.5 trades
Just to be clear, this DOES include NFL Draft day trades. So, will they execute two or more trades for a second straight season? I’ll take the under. While I think the Steelers are open to making a trade, I don’t see them making as many trades as they did last offseason. I do think they’ll make one trade, but that clearly falls below the 1.5 line.

As for what I’m eating, it’s whatever meal my wife is cooking up. As for drink, it’s always store bought kombucha, as usual, and the tunes will be whatever my family wants to hear!
Happy Friday everyone!!
Still working on the house. I don’t get much time to hammer on it so it’s gonna drag on for awhile.
Drinking iced green tea with honey.
Ate leftover pasta.
Listening to my Pink Floyd pandora channel.
Im taking the under. Zero players, they make a deal with picks day three to move up, and grab a guy no one really knows.
Pizza with some Ale, watching the Combine
Since it does include draft day trades, I’m going to say over with two.
