Steelers add a tight end to their 90-man offseason roster
The Pittsburgh Steelers are continuing to add to their 90-man offseason roster ahead of the start of the 2025 league year. Although there are plenty of players who are not yet available because they finished the 2024 season on a 53-man roster, there are others who are available that can be signed at this time. On Friday, the Steelers signed tight end Donald Parham Jr. to a one year contract.

Parham was available for signing because he spent the entire 2024 season on the Denver Broncos practice squad. Previously, Parham spent four seasons with the Los Angeles Chargers from 2020 through 2023 where he appeared in 47 games with 23 starts. In his career, Parham has 67 receptions on 100 targets for 764 yards and 11 touchdowns.
Parham began his NFL journey in 2019 with the Detroit Lions where he signed as an undrafted free agent only to be released prior to training camp. Parham instead spent training camp in Washington and landed briefly on their practice squad. Landing with the Los Angeles Chargers ahead of the 2020 season, Parham continued to sign with the Chargers until he did not make the team for 2024 and, instead, signed with the Broncos practice squad.
Even though this is not the big signing Steelers fans are anticipating for 2025, itโs one of the few moves the Steelers are able to make at this time.
